Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe hung on to his recent hot showing with a double as IF Elfsborg moved to the fifth spot of the Swedish Allsvenskan table with a convincing 5-3 victory at BK Hacken on Sunday afternoon.
The visitors quickly rebounded after going down in the 22nd minute with Sebastien Holmen polishing off a mind-boggling move on the 26th minute mark.
Icelandic defender Valgeir Fridriksson notched to restore Hacken's advantage on the stroke of half-time.
Terry Yegbe pulled parity in the 48th minute, and Tunisian forward Ali Youssef plied Hacken infront with a goal 18 minutes later.
The Ghana U-23 centre-back scored again in the 90th minute to give Elfsborg a 3-2 lead after being set up by Kosovan forward Arber Zeneli.
Elfsborg dusted it off with two more goals from Per Frick and Besfort Zeneli in stoppage-time to bag all three points.
Yegbe's compatroit Michael Baidoo played 56 minutes before being subbed by Frick.
Yegbe, a former player of Vision FC who joined Elfsborg from Finnish club SJK Seinajoki, has notched two goals in 8 games in the 2024 season.
