Buriram United have finalised the acquisition of Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Toku as part of their bid to defend the Thai league title in the ongoing 2025/26 season.

The former Ghana youth international joins the Thai top-flight side on a free transfer after leaving Belgian Pro League club OH Leuven at the end of his contract this summer.

Toku, who became a free agent following his departure from Leuven, has now committed his future to the "Thunder Castle" on a permanent deal.

The 25-year-old, who is originally an attacking midfieder brings experience from spells across Europe, having previously featured for clubs including Denmark’s Aalborg BK, AEL Limassol in Cyprus and Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv.

Buriram United are hopeful that Toku’s European exposure will add value to their squad as they target further success this season.

Toku left Ghana in 2019 after emerging at Kasoa-based Cheetah FC and has since built his career across several European leagues.
