Kwadwo Duah scored twice to propel Ludogorets Razgrad into the semi-finals of the Bulgarian Cup with a commanding 3-1 win over Septemvri Sofia on Monday evening.

The Swiss-Ghanaian forward struck in the 7th and 56th minutes, respectively, to put the Bulgarian champions firmly in control and secure their place in the last four.

Duah, who is a former Nuremberg attacker opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a composed finish, before Marcus Erick doubled Ludogorets lead just four minutes later.

Duah added his second goal ten minutes after the restart to extend the advantage, effectively sealing the outcome of the tie.

Septemvri Sofia pulled one back late on through Stoyan Stoichov, but the result was never in doubt.

The 27-year-old was withdrawn after 60 minutes, with Eric Bile taking his place. Fellow Ghanaian Bernard Tekpetey was also substituted on the hour (60th minute) making way for Petar Stanic.
