Tenerife Sporting Director, Juan Carlos Cordero, admits that Dauda Mohammed's value will shot up if he joins the Black Stars to the world cup.
Ghana have qualified to the mundial and will lock horns with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in the group stage.
Tenerife have completed the signing of Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed from RSC Anderlecht on a season-long loan.
The former Asante Kotoko forward was impressive last season, banging in nine goals in thirty-five games for Segunda Division side Cartagena.
He's reported to have been on the standby list of Coach Otto Addo's last Black Stars squad in May for the AFCON qualifiers.
Carlos Cordero admits that if Dauda, 24, is called up to the Black Stars it will increase his value.
"Dauda is a fast, vertical footballer who is two-footed," Cordero said.
"He can play on both wings and also in the centre of the striker's area. We needed a player like that. If Dauda does well and gets called up for the World Cup, we will have to miss him for a month, but that will increase his value," he admitted.
