The hugely talented attacking midfielder has said that there is more to come from him this season at AFC Ajax.

Ghana international Kudus Mohammed was ‘over the moon’ after grabbing his debut goal in the UEFA Champions League for Ajax against Rangers on Wednesday evening.

Mohammed was adjudged the man of the match in AFC Ajax 4-0 win over Scottish side Rangers in the match-day one of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League group A at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Until tonight fixture, the 22-year-old had been struggling for playing time at the Dutch Eredivisie under Alfred Schreuder.

"I'm satisfied and I'm grateful to God. We all know what happened in my first Champions League game against Liverpool [Kudus suffered a serious injury]. I'm glad it was a lot more positive today. The most important thing is that we won." Kudus Mohammed said after the game.

"But there are still more goals to come, watch out,”

"I give everything for the team, no matter what position I play in."

Mohammed has scored three goals in his 7 appearances for AFC Ajax this season so far.
