Ghana and Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey has shared the excitement of rejoining his teammates at training again on social media and described it as a great feeling.
The versatile middleman has been out of action for the Gunners the whole of last month, after sustaining an injury at training in late August but joined the rest of the team at Colney this morning looking fully fit.
Initial speculations had it that, the injury looked serious and could be sidelined for almost eight weeks but the pleasant update is that, Partey has recovered fully and is poised to return to action.
Reacting to his return, the combative midfielder wrote on social media; "Feels great to be back again."
He's been out of action for both club and country for some weeks now but will this time be available for selection starting from RC Lens in match-day two of the UEFA Champions League tomorrow and against Premier League title rivals Manchester City this weekend.
He returned alongside teammate Bukayo Saka who picked up a knock in their last game but Gabriel Martinez is still out.
Thomas Partey missed Ghana's final 2023 AFCON qualifiers fixture against Central African Republic and a friendly against Liberia but is likely to bounce back later this month against Mexico and USA.
