Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey has returned to full training with Arsenal after almost five months absence and is looking fully fit this time and could feature in their next game.

The 30-year-old hasn't played actively since October for both club and country and his last competitive game was for Ghana against Mexico in an international friendly.

With Arsenal, he was last seen in action at the Emirates Stadium when they recorded a vital 1-0 win over champions and long-time tormentors Manchester City- in a game he was introduced to pull a magic in the second half.

The good news is that, Partey has now resumed training and has held three sessions already and could be in contention for a starting in their next league fixture, confirms manager Mikel Arteta.

"Thomas Partey should be part of the squad on Monday,” said Aretata. “He had a session before the last game, now he’s done two or three sessions. It’s progressing well."

The combative midfielder will be in contention for a starting berth when they play as guests to Sheffield United on Monday, March 4, at the Bramall Lane.
