Turkish topflight side, Fatih Karagümrük have expressed strong interest in signing Black Stars striker Caleb Ekuban in the next transfer window.

Still with Italian Serie A side Genoa, the 29-year-old hasn't really being a starter at the Estadio Luigi Ferraris and has no goal in ten matches so far in all competitions in the ongoing season.

However, there's high possibility of the Italian-born forward returning for another spell in Turkey, with Karagümrük reportedly in contacts with Ekuban's representatives.

The enterprising striker was with Trabzonspor in his first spell and was one of the fans favourite; having scored 29 goals and registered 18 assists in all competitions before leaving for Genoa.

The Red and Blavks are hoping for a positive negotiations as they are willing to make things official in the January transfer window.

Caleb Ekuban debuted for the Black Stars in 2019 and scored his first goal against Kenya in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers but hasn't received a call-up for over two years now.
