According to veteran Ghanaian journalist Ibrahim Sannie Daara, German clubs Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach have shown interest in signing Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru, who currently plays for RSC Anderlecht in the Belgian Jupiler League.

Although no offers have been made yet, scouts from both clubs have been monitoring the 25-year-old Ghana international with the intention of signing him in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ashimeru has been in excellent form for Anderlecht in the ongoing 2022/23 season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 28 games in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. His impressive performances have made him a target for several clubs.

The former WAFA player moved to Anderlecht in July 2021 from FC Red Bull Salzburg and has become one of the team's key players in the Belgian league.

Ashimeru's current contract with RSC Anderlecht is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
