Tyrique George has picked up Chelsea’s Men's Academy Player of the Season award.
It has been a breakthrough year for the 19-year-old English-born Ghanaian forward, who has featured in 22 games for the senior side of Chelsea and consistently impressed under Enzo Maresca.
He has made seven Premier League appearances off the bench, including when he came on to score against Fulham last month, and has earned four starts in the Conference League.
"The trust Enzo has in me gives me a great feeling. He knows me from training with him all season," George said, as indicated by the BBC.
