Kirsten Fiifi Otchere, an English-born forward of Ghanaian parentage, struck twice to propel Leicester City to a resounding 2-5 away win over champions Chelsea in the English U-18 South Premier League last Saturday afternoon.
The 16-year-old sensation completed the last campaign on a blistering note with 15 goal-involvements; having scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in all competitions.
Kirsten, netted a brace in the game to start the comeback for the Young Foxes, coupled with three other goals from Kevon Gray, Laolu Omobolaji and Jeremy Monga.
Sol Gordon and Landon Emenalo also got the two consolation goals for the Young Blues.
The versatile young attacker will definitely set sights on more game time and goals with both the U-18 and U21 sides as he hopes to ultimately get into the senior side as the season progresses.
Leicester City will host West Ham United in the next round of matches on September 14.
Despite representing England at youth level, Kirsten Otchere is still very much informed of his Ghanaian lineage having returned home after last season to organize a Charity Game at Adako-Jachie in the Ashanti Region of Ghana on May 25.
