United Arab Emirate (UAE) side Dubai City FC have announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Samuel Amoako on a one-year deal.
Amoako, a former player of Charity Stars FC and Vision FC made the switch to the Al Barsha based side after parting ways with Al-Dhara FC.
The 23-year-old was influential when Al-Dhara secured promotion to the UAE First Division League, featuring in 25 games for Al-Dhara as they ended the season in second spot to gain promotion from the second division.
“Welcome Samuel Amoako from Ghana as our new signing. With a solid background in Ghanaian clubs like Charity Stars FC and Vision FC, Samuel has proven his skills on the field. Last season, he played a key role in securing promotion for his UAE 2nd division team. His rock-solid defense is just what we need to strengthen our squad” the club said in a statement on social media.
