The Italian elite division side are currently tracking the 25-year-old full-back of Ghanaian descent in the ongoing winter transfer window
Italian Serie A side Udinese Calcio are reportedly chasing German-born Ghanaian right-back Anton-Leander Donkor, according to emerging reports from the German media.
Following a breakthrough season with Bundesliga 2 outfit Eintracht Braunschweig this term, the former VfL Wolfsburg youth star has now attracted the attention of the Stadio Friuli outfit and are determined to prise him away from his current employers in this winter window.
According to German outlet FT, Donkor could head to Italy to continue his trade with the Italian top-flight side following their efforts to land him for the second half of the ongoing Serie A campaign.
The former Everton U-23 defender has so far featured in 17 league games, scoring twice and assisting once for Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2.Bundesliga 22/23 football season.
His current deal with the German lower-tier side will expire on June 30, 2024 and per transfermarkt valuation, suitors must cough up €500,000 if they should lure him in this current window.
The Gottingen-born defender is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Germany U-18, U-19 and U-20 national youth teams.
