Ukrainian Premier League outfit FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv have made a €1 million offer for Ghanaian teenage sensation Douglas Owusu, Kickgh.com understands.

Owusu, 19, has been one of the standout young performers in the Serbian SuperLiga this season, dazzling for FK Radnik Surdulica with his blistering pace and creativity on the flanks. His consistency have quickly caught the eye of scouts across Europe.

According to reports, Radnik have rejected Metalist’s opening bid, holding out for an improved offer closer to €1.3 million before they consider parting ways with their rising star.

Radnik remain confident Owusu’s market value will continue to rise, with several European clubs now monitoring his progress closely.

Owusu’s impressive season has already drawn attention from Swiss giants BSC Young Boys and Norwegian champions Bodø/Glimt, both of whom have reportedly sent scouts to assess the Ghanaian winger.

Radnik view the teenager as their next big export, following the successful sales of Igor Zlatanović, Milan Makaric, and Uroš Milovanović in recent years.
