Ghanaian defender, Mohammed Salisu has opened up on how he worked hard to walk his way back into the AS Monaco line up and has attributed that to nothing but hard work.
The 26-year-old despite a great start last season struggled at certain point to get playing time and made only 24 appearances in all competitions.
However, the story is different now as the Black Stars defender has now settled back into the starting line up well and has lasted the entire duration in their last games and currently has nine appearances in all for the Rocks.
In a recent interview, the stalwart defender says he is very elated to finally return to competitive action and is hoping to continue working hard just as he’s been doing since the commencement of the new season.
“I gave myself the chance to earn this spot by working hard, and that's why I'm not surprised to be playing regularly now. In training, I'm improving and making sure to stay as disciplined as possible, and I've been doing that since the restart” he said.
Mohammed Salisu will hope for another starting spot when they host RC Lens on Saturday, November 8, at the Stade Louis II.
