The German elite division campaigners have reportedly snapped up the services of the 19-year-old winger of Ghanaian heritage
Bundesliga outfit VfB Stuggart have acquired the services of German-born Ghanaian teenager Justin Diehl on a five-year deal from FC Köln, according to reports from the German media.
With his contract set to expire in this upcoming summer, the Die Schwaben have utilised the opportunity to land him on free transfer, with his boyhood club now resigned of losing him at the end of the current campaign.
Sky and Bild have both reported that the Ghana-prospect teenager had already passed his mandatory medical assessments with VfB Stuggart and has inked a long-term contract which is due to come to a close in 2029.
However, this is now coming as a huge blow to his mother club as they were hell-bent to retain the services of their prized asset on another fresh terms beyond the upcoming summer.
Diehl, who is currently nursing an injury, has so far figured in 6 league games for FC Koln in the ongoing German Bundesliga 23/24 football season.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Germany U16, U18, U19 & U20 national youth teams.
