Ghana international Gideon Mensah has officially joined French top-tier side AJ Auxerre on a three-year deal in the ongoing summer transfer window.
He is making a return to France after spending the 2021/22 season with Bordeaux on a loan from Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg.

International on 11 occasions, he was notably part of the selection of the Black Stars during the 2021 African Cup of Nations”
Mensah joined Red Bull Salzburg in 2017 and has since had loan spells at Sturm Graz, Zulte Waregem, Vitória Sport Clube, and Bordeaux.
