Ghana international Andre Ayew was on target in Le Havre heavy loss to RC Strasbourg in the French Cup on Wednesday evening.
Ayew's brilliant header in the 30th minute gave Le Havre the equalizer to Dilane Bakwa, who had taken the lead in the 21st minute for the home side.
RC Strasbourg restored their lead on the 36th minute courtesy a strike from Emanuel Emegha before substitute Marvin Senaya completed their 3-1 victory in the dying embers of the game.
The Black Stars skipper lasted for 83 minutes of the game before he was replaced by Steve Ngoura.
Ayew has now scored three goals in 7 matches for Le Havre since joining them in November 2023.
