Ghana forward Jordan Ayew continued his blistering performance for Crystal Palace with his second consecutive goal in the Premier League against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

Ayew, who was maintained in the Eagles' starting line up under new manager Oliver Glasner, registered his name on the score sheet to double their lead in the 71st minute.

After lack of goals in the first half, Chris Richards opened the scoring for Palace in the 68th minute before the Black Stars attacker doubled the lead, three minutes later.

French international Jean-Philippe Mateta sealed their victory after brilliantly converting a spot-kick awarded to them in the 79th minute of the game.

Ayew has now scored four goals and provided six assists in 27 appearances for Crystal Palace across all competitions this season.
