The former Premier League hitman believes the in-form Ghanaian goal poacher has what it takes to join the Spanish heavyweights given his tip-top form in the English top-flight so far this term 

Ex-Watford striker Troy Deeney has tipped Ghana international forward Antoine Semenyo to line up for La Liga giants Real Madrid if he is able to carry on with his red-hot form with Bournemouth in this season's Premier League contest.

The 25-year-old has been in terrific form for the Cherries after single-handedly led his side to a respectable position in the league standings with his goal-scoring exploits so far this season. However, with such splendid form in the full glare of suitors across Europe, Premier League top dogs namely; Newcastle United, Liverpool and Manchester United are all currently gunning for his signature, with those in charge of Antfield heavily tipped to land him in the subsequent transfer windows.

Following Semenyo's remarkable outings in this current campaign, the man who once established himself as one of the deadliest attackers in the English top-flight, believes the former Bristol City forward could form a bond with the Spanish superpowers if he maintains his top-form going forward.

The Watford icon told talkSPORT: ''I just don’t know if Semenyo can keep it up — do you know what I mean? “If he does, then my God — he’ll probably end up playing for Real Madrid. But I think he’s very good, very powerful, very direct. I just don’t know whether he’ll keep it up.”

The former Sunderland loanee has so far netted six times and assisted three in 11 appearances across all competitions for Bournemouth in this current 2025/26 football season.

He currently boasts of 31 caps with the Ghana Senior National Team on the international stage with 3 goals to his name.
