Ghana and Viktoria Plzen forward, Prince Adu Kwabena featured in their 3-1 defeat last night at the Estadio San Mamerse in the final group phase game of the Europa League.

Nico Williams opened the scoring account for the homesters and two other goals from Yeray Alvarez and Javier Marton sealed the victory. Milan Havel got the consolation for the visitors.

Despite the defeat, Viktoria Plzen have still made it to the playoffs after finishing in 16th position with 12 points, having won three, drawn three with two loses from eight matches.

Adu Kwabena, 21, didn't really have the best of games but that won't add any blemishes to the stellar campaign he is having so far in the competition having netted three goals and provided one assist in seven matches

Reacting to their loss, the former Bechem United star knew it wasn't the best of results but they are still through which is the most important thing.

"We keep going. Better luck next time," he posted on his Instagram Story after the match.

Viktoria Plzen will face Hungarian side Ferencváros in the playoff round of the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League.
