The evergreen wonderkid of Ghanaian heritage has given the clearest indication that talks over fresh terms with the Dutch superpowers are currently underway with his representatives
Dutch-born Ghanaian teenager Pharell Nash has revealed that talks over contract extension with Eredivisie giants Ajax are ongoing with his entourage as he is confident that an agreement would soon be reached between both parties.
The 17-year-old has so far elevated himself among his peers and has been drafted into the Jong Ajax team from the U19 side. However, with first-team debut being savoured this term, the talented budding winger is looking forward to working hard with the reserve side so as to stake a claim in the mainstream squad going forward.
The Ghana-prospect evergreen teenager has said of his contract extension talks with his parent club in an interview with Ajaxshowtime: ''We're working on it [contract extension]. I don't want to comment further, but I think it will all work out.'' He added, ''I want to play as much as possible with Jong Ajax and contribute with goals and assists. From there, I want to see if I can get a chance with the first team, but first I need to perform well with Jong Ajax.''
Nash has already taken in 27 game appearances by netting 5 times and assisting 5 across all competitions ranging from the youth set-up to the mainstream squad this season.
Born to Ghanaian parents in The Netherlands, the nimble right-footed winger remains a future prospect for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for The Netherlands U15 & U17 national youth teams.
