Ghanaian young-sensation Jerry Afriyie netted his fourth goal of the season but wasn’t enough for his club RAAL La Louvière who lost 2-1 away at champions Union Saint-Gilloise in round 24 of the Jupiler Pro League. 

The 19-year-old is regarded by many as one of the exciting youngsters in the country and has been very impressive since joining on loan last summer from Al Qadsiah. 

Jerry, once again made manager David Hubert’s starting line up and was in the thick of affairs for the Green-Whotes and put them ahead in just five minutes from kickoff. 

Two subsequent goals in each half from Rob Schoofs and Brazilian international Guilherme Smith were enough to hand the champions a a precious fight back win to maintain their top-spot. 

Jerry Afriyie, who now has four goals this season in the league, enjoyed 77 minutes of action before making way for Cristian Makate 

RAAL La Louvière are still in danger zone sitting in 15th place with 24 points to deepen their woes and will travel to Anderlecht next.
