Portuguese international Pedro Neto opened the scoring account in the 34th minute for the two-time European champions before substitute Enzo Fernandez added another in the second half to seal the victory
Ghanaian international Yaw Yeboah was introduced into the game in the 87th minute to replace Marky Delgado - and will definitely seek for more game time heading into their subsequent matches
The former Man City midfielder didn't really get enough minutes to prove his worth but managed a 100% pass accuracy having ensured he didn't misplace any of the four passes he attempted
He will hope to make the starting line up when Los Angeles FC face Tunisian heavyweights Esperance in their second group game on Friday, June 20.
The remaining two Ghanaian players at the competition are Samuel Obeng Gyabaa (Wydad Athletic Club) and Edmund Baidoo (Red Bull Salzburg)
