Ghanaian youngster, Yaw Yeboah, is delighted with his first goal of the season.
The Ghana U-20 goal poacher was on target in FC Twente 3-1 home victory over Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday.
The 19-year-old forward joined the Dutch side from English Premier League giants Manchester City on a year loan deal.
“Fantastic goal. Great feeling and I am happy to score my first goal of the season and I hope to continue’’ he told Fox Sports
“It is great. For an attacker you need goals, you need assists. That’s exactly what I did and I thank God I took my chances you know,’’
“I knew what the left back was going to do because I was reading the game. And then I had to turn around and had the chance and I met the ball and that was it’’
“It is not easy but there’s no pressure on me. I just have to do what I know how to do, keep my focus and work hard and then show my talent. And I think I will get great results.’’
“It is fantastic. I came and they received me really well. I scored and everyone is happy and I am happy to continue from there.”
Yeboah has been called to Black Stars of Ghana to replace Leicester City winger Jeffrey Sclupp ahead of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Rwanda.
