Spanish La Liga 2 club Real Zaragoza have announced the permanent acquisition of Ghanaian young midfielder Yussif Saidu after an impressive performance in this season's campaign.

Saidu, who joined the Segunda Division side on an initial loan deal from Ghanaian lower-tier side Dansoman XI Wise, has now penned a five-year contract with the club.

The 20-year-old spent last season with the youth team and Deportivo Aragon before earning his way into the first team at the final stretch of the 2024/25 campaign.

After impressing the technical team of the senior team during pre-season, Saidu has been a regular and featured in eight games this season.

The club's official statement reads: "Saidu has now committed to Real Zaragoza for the remainder of this season and four more years, and the club congratulates him on this important step in his career. We're still together, Saidu!,".

Saidu is yet to represent Ghana at any level and he's eligible to play for the Ghana U23 team and the senior national team.
