Ghanaian attacker Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere scored for Zhejiang Professional FC in their 4-3 win over Qingdao Hainiu on matchday 21 of the Chinese Super League.
In a rip-roaring match, Zhejiang were drawing 1-1 when Owusu-Sekyere received a pass from Yao Junsheng right outside the box. The Dutch-born Ghanaian striker executed a powerful shot to the goalkeeper’s right post to score the 2-1 for his team.
Owusu-Sekyere's Ghanaian compatriot Martin Boakye scored an hat-trick in the 11th. 53rd and 76th minutes, respectively, for Qingdao.
But, Boakye's goal was not enough as Zhejiang Professional ended up winning the game 4-3. The win has shot the Green Giants to the 6th position on the league log with 31 points.
Owusu-Sekyere has been useful for Zhejiang Professional this season, having featured 22 times and netting eight goals and managing two assists in the 2024 Chinese Super League.
