Radnički Niš, a Serbian Super liga Srbije side, have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Tanko Ibrahim from Israeli side Maccabi Netany in the ongoing transfer window.

Tanko is praised for his exceptional physical strength and excellent rebounding in attack, and the club is pleased to have secured his signature for the fresh season.

Tanko isn't new to the Serbian league, having previously played for Red Star, Bežania, Mladost from Lučani, and Javor.

"The 25-year-old Ghanaian winger is the new reinforcement of our club," said the club in a statement. "Tanko comes to us from Israeli Maccabi Netany to whom Radnicki paid indemnity so that this strong striker could reach the Chair."

Tanko began his career in his native Ghana in 2017, joining the ranks of Crvena Zvezda as a great talent. He played for the youth club from Belgrade and as a loaned player in Bezanija.

After that, he was followed by a transfer to Mladost from Lučani and Javor Matis, for which he performed very successfully for three and a half years.

For the club from Ivanjica, he played over 100 games and scored 13 goals and 9 assists, and his good matches did not go unnoticed, so he followed a transfer to Israel's Maccabi, from which he arrives in Niš.

"Ibrahim Tanko is very good at the wing striker position but due to his exceptional physical strength and excellent jump he can play in the very front of the attack," added the club.

"Good matches in the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, as well as the fact that Tanko has spent almost 8 years playing in Serbia and that he does not need any adaptation, are things that were of great importance for our sports sector when bringing in this strong striker," concluded the club.
