The 2021/22 Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle League commences on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 with some mouthwatering encounters coming up.
Champions of the various zones will square off against each other with the ultimate winner securing promotion into the country's second-tier next season.
Winners of the seven zones together with the best second-placed team have been paired in two groups with the winners meeting each other in the final for the ultimate spot.
Last year finalist, Asekem FC will kickoff the competition against zone three champions First Klass FC which will be the opening game of the day.
The Beposo Warriors will go all out this time to secure qualification, having missed out narrowly last year whiles the 'Until Is Over' side after winning their zone with 34 points and will look to make a huge statement this time.
High-flying Pro Players Academy will start off their campaign against Natcosta FC once again after both teams finished first and second with 41 and 37 points respectively in zone five.
Despite earning three points each from their previous two meetings, Pro Academy had better head to head after winning 2-0 at home when they had already lost to them 1-0 away from home.
The cracker for the day will definitely be between Benab FC and Ebony FC which is scheduled for 12:00pm. Both teams made it to this stage last season but couldn't make it to the final and will definitely go all out this time to emerge victors at the end of the competition.
And the last fixture of the day, will be between Zone six champions Kumawuman United FC who will face Zone 7 conquerors Jachie United.
Judging from form, the Jachie-based side will start the game as slightly favourites, having finished the first phase of the league with 32 points whereas the 'Barima Mma' lads also bagged 30 points.
Note, all games will be honoured at the Baba Yara Stadium starting from 8:00am on every match day.
