Stakes are high for the commencement of the 2022/23 Ashanti Regional Division Two promotional tournament which commences on Friday, April 28, at the usual Baba Yara Stadium with some exciting and mouthwatering fixtures coming up.
There will be four match days in all to wrap up the competition with the first three hosting the group stage matches and the last hosting the final to determine who plays in division one in the 2023/24 Ghana football season.
Four matches will be served each day with the opening fixture kicking off at exactly 8:00am as always.
Rate is going for a cool five and ten cedis for only VIP

BENAB FC VS MAHALA ACADEMY - KICKOFF- 8:00am
Benab FC after securing their third consecutive Middle League spot, will kickoff the 2022/23 edition against newbies Mahala Academy- with both teams setting sights on nothing but a win to set off a brighter start to the competition.
The 'Everything by God' outfit were the best team in the first phase of the championship having finished as winners of Zone 5 in an unbeaten fashion and recorded an incredible 13-game winning streak with massive 44 points after 16 games.
Mahala Academy however, were the best second-placed team to join the other seven zonal championship despite this being their debut season in the third tier, having clinched the second spot in zone 4 with 34 points, four adrift the eventual winners
ROYAL KUMAPEM FC VS PAC ACADEMY - KICKOFF: 10:00am
Royal Kumapem will cross swords with high-flying PAC Academy who have been really amazing in this year's edition with 38 points to conquer zone four- making them the team with the second highest points in the first phase.
However, the Mampong-based side despite bossing zone one, happens to be the team with the least number of points and wins in the zonals but will look to improve their game and definitely present themselves as the surprise package in this year's edition.
KUMASI ACADEMICALS VS JACHIE UNITED - KICKOFF: 12:00pm
Jachie United after failing to surpass the group stages last year, exhibited a five star display to finish as champions over Ebony FC in the seventh zone. The aim for them this time will definitely be set above their performance last year.
Kumasi Academicals on the other hand, also ditched previous winners and last year semi finalists Kumawuman FC to book themselves in the promotional tourney- a strong statement to show glimpses of what they're about to serve to many a football faithful in Kumasi on Friday.
FIRST KLASS FC VS PRO PLAYERS ACADEMY- KICKOFF: 2:00pm
Runners up of last year, Pro Players Academy will be engaged in the last game of the first round of matches and will face First Klass FC who are also making their second straight appearance.
Also in their third continuous qualification, the 'Goals Nkoaa' outfit will potentially dream of nothing but ultimate to qualify for the national first division championship.
On road to qualification, they finished as champions of zone three with 33 points whiles the Konongo-based outfit also won zone two 30 points.
