Hasaacas Ladies and Ampem Darkoa Ladies will go head to head against each other in the final of the 2023/24 Ghana Women's Premier League tonight at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Both teams have always exerted their supremacy in women football having always prove superior in their various zones and this will be the fourth time they will be playing in the playoffs.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies successfully defended their title against same Hasaacas after winning 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 stalemate in regulation time at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
The 'Hasmal Ladies' once again dominated and emerged as winners of the Southern Zone with 38 points- six adrift second-placed Faith Ladies.
On the other hand, defending champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies also conquered the Northern Zone with 34 points- not really at their best but still managed to emerge victorious as usual.
Winner of this game will be champions of the 2023/24 Ghana Women's Premier League and will also secure a spot in the WAFU Zone B Champions League qualifiers which will be held in August.
Ultimately, the main aim is a spot in the Champions League- of which Ampem Darkoa Ladies represented Ghana last year.
The game is slated for 19:00GMT tonight.
