Bulgarian-based striker, Bernard Tekpetey has been added to Ghana's provisional squad ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which will be held in Cote D'Ivoire early next year.
The 26-year-old has been in an explosive form this season for the Eagles and has been a decisive figure in almost all matches they have played so far this season.
He's been very busy in the ongoing season and has already made 32 appearances and is involved in 18 goals so far, having scored 11 and provided 7 assists in all competitions.
Following his continuous impressive performances, Tekpetey has earned himself an invite to the senior men national team ahead of the 2023 AFCON and will definitely hope to make the final squad.
Ghana are drawn in Group B alongside Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will commence on January 13, 2024.
