The Black Satellites of Ghana has been drawn alongside Gambia, Benin and Congo in Group A of the 2023 African Games slated for March 2024 in Accra, Ghana.
The draw for the 2023 African Games was held at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan on Thursday afternoon.
This afternoon's draw was for the eight quarter-finalists at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations Egypt 2023, together with hosts Ghana, will qualified for the event.
Five countries namely Nigeria, South Sudan, Senegal, Uganda and Tunisia have been housed in Group B of the 2023 African Games.
The 13th edition of African Games will take place in Ghana’s capital, Accra from 08 and 24 March 2024.
Ghana's U20 male team has already commenced preparations for the 2023 African Games at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
Head Coach Desmond Ofei and the technical team are currently working with 30 invited players for the all-important tournament.
The technical team have been working with different sets of players at the Technical centre in Prampram in their quest to put together a decent squad that will represent Ghana at the African Games scheduled for March, 2024.
