The Black Satellites after finishing as winners of Group A, will now face runners up of Group B, Senegal in the semi final of the ongoing 2023!African Games next week.
The four-time African champions accumulated seven points to top the group, having redeemed themselves from the draw against Congo on the opening day, to pick precious wins over Gambia and Benin.
However, after a shocking defeat against Uganda, the Young Lions patched up all cracks and returned on a good note with a precious 2-3 win over Nigeria to advance to the next round.
The two countries will now clash with each other in the semi final with definitely a mindset of winning to cruise into the final.
The semi final pairings comes up on Tuesday with the top three nations in the end to be honoured with Gold, Silver and Bronze
