Ghana's male national U20 team will begin their 2023 African Games campaign on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium against Congo.
Black Satellites head coach Desmond Ofei announced a final 20-man squad, who will to represent Ghana at the 13th African Games Accra 2023 Men's Football Competition.
The squad is made up of three goalkeepers, six defenders, five midfielders, three wingers and three strikers. Dreams FC and Accra Lions dominated the list with three players each.
Dreams FC talismanic attacker Abdul Aziz Issah has been named in the squad with Ofori McCarthy and Emmanuel Adjei, who are all from Ghana's sole representative in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.
Accra Lions trio Daniel Afful, Frederick Kesse and Remember Adomako Boateng also made the list with FC Samartex young striker Michael Epson and Kelvin Nkrumah of Medeama SC included.
Ghana will face on Friday, March 8, 2024 against Congo before taking on Gambia in their second Group A game on March 12, 2024.
The Black Satellites will face Benin in the last group match on March 15, 2024.
All three group matches will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
