The Black Stars are scheduled to play Uganda in an international friendly later this month.

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has announced that the cranes of Uganda will engage the senior national team of Ghana in March's international friendlies in Morocco.

The statement from FUFA confirmed that the match is scheduled to be played on March 26, 2024, at the Stade Grande Marrakech in Morocco.

Ghana is currently without a substantive head coach after the sacking of Irish-born Ghanaian coach Chris Hughton after the Black Stars' group stage exit at the recently ended 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is expected to announce the new head coach of the Black Stars in the coming days and his first duty will be March's international friendly against Uganda.

The last meeting between the two nations was during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and the two-legged fixture ended in a scoreless draw.

Ghana has won seven games against the Cranes of Uganda and lost three times, with five ending as drawn fixtures.
