The Black Princesses of Ghana exhibited a stupendous and unmatched performance to humble Senegal by 3-1 in the second semi final of the ongoing African Games.

They will now face sworn rivals Nigeria to battle for the gold medal and will definitely seek repeat like they did to them in the WAFU Women U-20 championship last year.

In-form Tracey Twum opened the scoring account for Ghana on the 18th minute with a great finish after they had made series of goal attempts.

On the 34th minute, Ophelia Amponsah came so close to doubling the lead but she was unlucky as her effort went off the upright.

Just on the stroke of half time, Ophelia wouldn't miss this time after slotting into the net calmly to double the Princesses lead heading into the break.

Back from recess, Senegal returned on a higher note and attacked right from onset and eventually pulled one back in just eight minutes into the second half.

Two minutes later, Ophelia Amponsah scored again to restore Ghana's two-goal lead and also mark her brace for the night.

It ended 3-1 for the Black Princesses after full time in Cape Coast and by that, they are through to the final.

The final is now set between Ghana and Nigeria and is slated for 20:00GMT on Thursday, March 21, at the Cape Coast Stadium.
