Ampem Darkoa Ladies coach Nana Joe Adarkwa has been nominated for Women's Coach of the Year in the 2023 CAF Awards which will be held early next month.
The experienced trainer did incredibly well with the 'Nana Mma' outfit in the year under review and was fortunate to have his heroics recognized by the continent's highest football governing body.
He led the Blue-Whites to win the Ghana Women's Premier League and topped up with the WAFU Zone B Championship- which earned them a spot to the main competition for the first time.
Currently in the ongoing Women's Champions League, Ampem Darkoa Ladies in their first ever appearance have already made it to the semi final, having finished as winners of Group B ahead of reigning champions ASFAR.
Nana Joe Adarkwa will be vying for the prestigious award alongside other top coaches like Lovemore Fazili, Reynald Pedros, Randy Waldrums, Mohammed Amine Alioua, Desiree Ellis and others.
The 2023 CAF Awards is slated for Monday, December 11, in Morocco.
