The Black Stars of Ghana left the shores of Accra earlier this morning and have already touched down in Kumasi to prepare for their game against Madagascar.

Coach Chris Hughton last week announced his squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros- hoping for victories in these matches to set off a perfect and explosive start. 

The Black Stars started arriving in camp on Monday with players like skipper Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Joseph Paintsil, Nicholas Opoku, Antoine Semenyo all present at the moment- with the latest to join being Kudus Mohammed.

Also, Jojo Wollacott, Osman Bukari, Majeed Ashimeru, Daniel Amartey, who have all been out of the team for sometime now due to injuries have all returned looking fully fit and poised for action.

The team initially were to leave for Kumasi on Wednesday morning but changes were made in the team's schedule reason the Black Stars had to make the trip this morning.

They are expected to train at the Baba Yara Stadium today in an open door with journalists and supporters allowed to come and have a view of the team's preparations 

Ghana will kickoff their campaign with Madagascar on Friday, November 17, before they travel to Moroni to play Comoros in four days time.
