The 2023 Ghana Football Association Election was held earlier this morning and a new Executive Council has been established with some names maintained on the list and few changes made.

The Ghana FA Elective Congress was held at the Golden Dream Hotel in Northern Region's capital, Tamale.

With the main event which is the Presidential election, incumbent Kurt E.S Okraku retained his seat after going unopposed and got 117 'Yes' from the total 119 votes casted.

However, with the Executive Council, members like Randy Abbey, Nana Oduro Sarfo, Frederick Acheampong, Kingsley Osei Bonsu all maintained their spots, whiles the new member to join as part of the Premier League representatives is former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah- who made it on the ticket of giants Asante Kotoko.

Medeama SC's Dr. Tony Aubynn is missing out on the Ex-co this time, having amassed only seven votes and failed to maintain his place.

The three representatives from Division One are current Vice President Mark Addo- though a new election will be conducted for that role, Akosombo Krystal Palace's Gideon Fosu and Eugene Noel Nobel.

Whiles Berry Ladies bankroller Gifty Oware Aboagye also got a 'Yes' from all the 20 Women's Premier League clubs to represent them on the council.

The new GFA Administration will lead Ghana football until 2027.
