Young Apostles' CEO, Samuel Anim Addo has responded to the outcomes of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) elections that took place during the Congress in Tamale to select the president and executive council members of the association.

Anim Addo, who had been serving as a Division One representative on the council, sought re-election, competing against four other candidates. However, he failed to retain his position and finished at the bottom with 13 points.

Despite the disappointing result, Anim Addo expressed his gratitude to God on his official Twitter account. He wrote, "The Lord Has Spoken. Thank you, Jesus. I am still grateful. Yes, this was another victory for me in your eyes. Thank you, Jesus Christ."

In the election, Mark Addo emerged as the top candidate with 32 points, securing his place on the Council. He was closely followed by Gideon Fosu and Eugene Nobel Amon Noel, who received 29 and 28 votes, respectively, to become the three Executive Council Members elected from the Division One category.

Alexander Ababio, who received 15 votes, also missed out on a council position.
