Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his technical handlers have selected a squad of 25 players to travel to Algeria for the Black Meteors' first-leg AFCON U23 qualifier.
The team held a training session on Tuesday at the Accra Sports Stadium, with thirty players in attendance. Several foreign-based players have also joined the squad to strengthen the team for the two-legged tie.
The team comprises of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Zubairu Ibrahim, Salim Adams, Alex Sarfo, Emmanuel Essiam, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Emmanuel Yeboah, among others.
The team is now in camp, preparing to depart for Algeria, where they will play the first leg match on Friday, March 24, in Annaba. The return encounter is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Tuesday, March 28.
