High-flying Benab FC commenced the 2024/25 Division Two season with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Medifamo Fc last Sunday, October 27, at the Alignment Astro Turf.

Benab dominated the opening stages, unleashing a flurry of attempts on goal.

Imam of Benab had the first chance of the game but the visitors goalkeeper died well to deny him.

The Sepe based side came close again through Abdul Mugis but the foward saw his shot wide.

The visitors also tested Benab at the half hour mark but goalkeeper Dickson produced a stunning save to keep the game at bay.

Coach Abu Adams' halftime substitution proved pivotal, introducing Danger in place of Enoch.

Danger's 60th-minute cross was expertly headed home by Mugis, securing the winner.

Benab FC continued to press, with Danger and Dembele forcing impressive saves from the Medifamo goalkeeper.

The victory marks a promising start to the campaign, with Benab FC aiming to build momentum ahead of Saturday's clash against Longford.
