The 2024 edition of the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges boys soccer competition returns early next year, with the qualifiers series set to commence on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

The last edition ended in August this year and it was Simms SHS who made history by winning the competition for the first time after edging giants Osei Kyeretwie SHS via penalty shootouts in the final.

The qualifying round is expected to take five days as it is scheduled to be wrapped up on December 19, across eight different centers.

As usual, 128 different schools in the region will compete in the qualifiers series and will be paired in 32 groups, with each comprising of four teams- with only the winners securing the ultimate spot to the Baba Yara Stadium for the main event..

Reigning champions Simms SHS have been housed in Group 17, runners up OKESS are in Group 6 whiles Real AMASS head Group 22.

Former winners like Prempeh College, OWASS, KASS, Kumasi High, are also the seeded schools in their various groups and will all hope to secure qualification to the main competition which is expected to run from January 9-16, 2024.
