Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed strong confidence in the Black Galaxies as they gear up for their decisive African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria.
Coach Ouattara has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the team ahead of the high-stakes first-leg clash, scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
“I believe in this team. They have what it takes to qualify. This is not the first time Ghana is facing Nigeria in such a crucial moment,” Ouattara said. “We need to win this cup. If we qualify, we must go and bring it home. Good luck to the team. Let us all support them.”
The match kicks off at 4:00 PM GMT, with the return leg set for December 28 in Nigeria. The Black Galaxies will be aiming to secure a favorable result at home to boost their chances of making it to the CHAN tournament.
