Nations Football Club kicked off their campaign in the 2024 Nsenkyire Cup on Friday with a massive 5-1 win over Legon Cities FC.
The two Ghana Premier League clubs are among four teams competing in this year’s Nsenkyire Cup. In a game played at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Nations FC outplayed and outscored Legon Cities FC.
Richard Danso scored twice, while Barimah Baah, Abdul Karim, and Moses Opoku each added a goal to inspire Nations FC to the emphatic victory.
Following today’s match, both Nations FC and Legon Cities FC will face Samartex FC and Nsoatreman FC in the Nsenkyire Cup. The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned champion.
