The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has predicted a cutthroat and distinct nail-biting 2024/25 football season.
With the domestic football governing body releasing fixtures for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season which is almost up us, most teams across the various leagues began their preseason training camps at the start of July, largely without most of their stars, and now many will be crisscrossing the country on money-spinning preseason tours of Ghana.
"The new football season is gradually nearing us, and it promises to be very competitive," Okraku said.
"Our clubs in the GPL, Women's Premier League, and Division One League are all preparing diligently. Hasaacas, for instance, are already in camp getting ready for the Women's Champions League."
Hasaacas Ladies will compete in the CAF Women's Champions League, Nsoatreman on the other hand will play in the CAF Confederation Cup and reigning Ghana Premier League champions Samartex makes an appearance in the CAF Champions League.
