Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo will be announcing his squad this week for the upcoming double header against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Majority of the players in the previous squad are expected to be maintained especially skipper Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Alidu Seidu, Mohammed Salisu, Abdul Mumin, who are all playing incredibly well for their various clubs.
Alexander Djiku and Ernest Nuamah missed out in the last call up due to injuries and are expected to make their return this time having made a full recovery.
The four-time African champions made a very sloppy start to their qualifiers campaign in last month's international window having failed to record a win in their opening two matches.
They lost shockingly at home to Angola in the opening fixture before being held by Niger to a drawn game and will be up against Sudan who have been very impressive recently.
Despite knowing how tough Sudan will be especially having a Ghanaian in James Kwesi Appiah as head coach, the Black Stars have no any other option than to redeem themselves with nothing but wins in the double header to revive their qualification hopes.
Ghana won't be playing at a neutral grounds anymore as rumours confirmed the Cape Coast and Accra stadia were all inspected over the weekend and has been cleared by the CAF inspection team to host the game.
The first leg is slated for Friday, October 11, with the return encounter to be played in three days time in Khartoum.
