The Black Stars of Ghana have been drawn in Group F of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers draw which was held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The draw comprises of a total of 48 teams will be split into 12 groups of four teams, who will square off against each other, and the top two teams in each group will book a spot at the main event in Morocco late next year. 

Cote D'Ivoire did the 'host and win' in the last edition having fight from behind to edge Niger 2-1 in the final to clinch their third title, thanks Sebastien Haller's late goal.

The four-time African champions have been placed in Group F alongside Angola, Sudan and Niger.

Ghana this time will be hoping to end their over fourty-year long standing hoodoo of not winning the AFCON with their last success coming in 1982 when they defeated host Libya via penalty shootouts.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will commence on December 21, 2025, and extend to January 18, 2026.
