Ghana's matchday five fixture of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad next month will be officiated by experienced Libyan referee Ahmed Abdulrazg.

This is really a very crucial game for the African giants who aim at securing their fourth win in the ongoing qualifying series and also seek redemption from their disappointing 2025 AFCON qualifiers campaign.

This is going to be the second time Abdulrazg will be handling a game involving Ghana in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers after taking charge of their last game against Central African Republic in match-day four.

He will be deputized by his compatriots Amsaaed Attia M. Essa (Assistant Referee I), Munji Alayat (Assistant Referee II) and Muhammad Saad Elmabrouk Elmabrouk (Fourth Official).

Kokou Djaoupe from Togo has been named as the Referee Assessor, while Holland-Cole Kasho Joseph of Sierra Leone will serve as the Match Commissioner.

The Black Stars will host Chad at the Ohene Gyan Stadium on Friday, March 21, at 19:00GMT (7:00pm)
